Gargano National Park

The Gargano National Park covers an area of more than 120.000 hectares, almost a region into a region. It presents innumerable habitats also including lots of possible natural settings of the Mediterranean basin. In the Gargano Promontory hinterland you can find the last testimony of the Umbra Forest. You can explore the Park and its 40 itineraries by walk or bicycle. While walking in the park, discover the suggestive quantity of botanical species, which characterize the Park,  admire the impressive beech trees, turkey oaks, hollies, and meet fallow deer,  foxes and other hundreds of animals and birds registered.
